OMG, University of Phoenix Online SUCKS!!! My Financial Advisor and Academic Counselor were both total dicks to me at first. My Financial Advisor is no longer with the company and I now have a new one, but everything has to be this big ole process. Nothing can be done with one phone call. Today I just wanted to order an Official Transcript. I called one person, who referred me to an 800#. They told me to call my Financial Advisor who transferred me to my Academic Counselor who transferred me BACK to my Financial Advisor!
WTH??? Why does it need to be so complicated?!?
AND, not to mention that the tuition is outrageous for the educating I'm receiving. I've seriously taken 3 classes there so far and can honestly say I haven't learned a thing. And I've spend nearly $5,000... all to learn nothing so far. Seriously - I'm about to say screw it and find another school to go to.
I initially enrolled because I need to work 40 hours and my job is M-F, 8am-5pm. Since I moved to Arizona, I have to pay a substantial amount in rent to my BF, so he can pay the mortgage. So I thought UoP online would be great because it's convenient. It's been nothing but a huge ball of stress so far!
I've been enrolled for 3 classes (since October 31), and I JUST now found out how much I'm eligible for in student aid. 3 1/2 months later... WTH!!!
