Yes. I did read that. So very sad. Little Ella, wasn't it? I have actually considered caging her. I hesitate to do it completely that way though, because she won't understand. She doesn't get in a crate at all except an hour or so here and there when I go somewhere she isn't allowed, like a restaurant.
She sleeps with me, she goes most places with me and I am at home with her most of the time. The cage is in my bedroom. Maybe I will bring it into the living area when she is in it while they are here so she won't feel so alone back there all by herself....but I have a feeling she will be protesting much.
