Hello Friends! How is everyone doing? I just wanted to say...through away that DVD that came with the SuperStar flat iron. That lady doesn't even know what she is talking about.

How to create curls: It's easy. Think of curling a ribbon. You have to hold your scissors at an angle and then pull the ribbon through. Same with the straight iron.

1) Comb your hair
2) Take a section of hair (probably 3/4 by 3/4 of an inch)
3) From the root of your hair (don't have to be very close to your scalp), place the straight iron at an angle and then pull your hair through in ONE MOTION. Don't stop midway b/c if you do you will get a kink.

NOTE: The more of an angle you have the straight iron blade, the curlier your hair will be. It takes a few tries before you'll be able to master this. Please do not get frustrated the first few times around.

Kindly let me know if you have any other questions by contacting me at katie_b_cosmetics@hotmail.com! Thanks!

My apologizes if I have rewritten the answer. I didn't get a chance to finish reading this thread!
