Sammi's bestest doggie pal is a pitbull...My sister rescued him at 9 weeks old...He is the smartest, sweetest, gentliest dogs my family has eevr encountered...As you can see from these pics Sammi literally walks all over this dog..and he sits and takes it...When they are in the backyard...there is a ledge by the basement steps...Well, we have thought Storm to "go get Sammi" and he puts his whole body by the ledge in order for her not to fall off...He adores Sammi...
To me the breed is often given a bad rap...Even when my sister brought him home from the shelter...My mom said "OH MY GOD A PITBULL, HE CANT STAY HERE WITH KASEY (her matlese)" Well he is the same way with Kasey too now...Now of course I am NOT saying all pitbulls are like Storm, it really depends on the upbringing (IMO)
