I was never so healthy as when I spent every day in Barns. riding horses.....mucking stalls, surrounded by Horses, Cats, Dogs...Mice...God know what. And there I'd be , sitting on a Haypile, eating a Sandwich with my dirty hands...lol.

Francie - you are so right about this, in fact, I've recently heard of a study that backs you up. It was talking about the health of children exposed to everyday ordinary germs verses those that have been isolated and protected from them. The exposed children in general were much healthier.
I can understand how some are offended at dogs being allowed in restaurants, I'm not personally, but would respect their wishes. Many other places though could allow them with no real harm to anyone, especially if they are in a carrier.
