I've had angel fish, cychilds (separate tanks) and numerous other fish. The mated angel fish you have will become very aggressive towards your other fish. In our 55 gal tank the mated pair would take about 1/4 of one end of the tank as theirs - wouldn't let other fish anywhere near.

I always used water conditioner, tap water contains chlorine and the conditioner removes that, as well as helps protect the slimy coating fish need for their best health. It isn't expensive $5 for a bottle and it lasts for quite awhile, you only use about a capful for 5 gal of water.

We also fed vegetables to our fish, they loved zuccini squash, and cucumbers. And, they do need a varied diet beyond the commercial flakes. Just remember to remove any zuccini slices after a bit, bc it will trash the water. We also feed all of our fish mysis shrimp, they looove these! They are frozen and can be found usually anywhere they sell the bloodworms. The mysis shrimp might be a better choice too for the little frogs too?
