That is so cowardly!!! I guarantee he will come crawling back one day and you will be so over him and moved on to a much better place. I know right now you are hurting but better now then when you buy a house, or worse have kids and he decides to be a jerk. Similar thing happened to my dtr 2 years ago after 3 1/2 years and I had just taken them both to Vegas for a vacation on me, treated him like a son and it broke my heart to see my dtr so devastated, but she know sees it wasn't right and has got on with her life.
