I work at our local Humane Society and it is very rare that a dog is euthanized thankfully. It is usually only done because they are too old or too ill. I enjoy my work there because I feel I am doing it for my own dogs. They would want to help if they could and they can't so I do it for them. We just opened a brand new facility last year and it is so great. We had a parade and it was fun for everyone.
I just was wondering under what conditiond they put dogs down at the Oasis Shelter? I think the breed rescues make sure no adoptable dogs who are in good health are destroyed. The shelters refer to these orgsnizations when they get specific breeds in.
