I was told by a certain MAJOR SUPER CENTER that the reason they would not allow pets in the store is: since they carry food, if the health dept were to come there and see an animal in the store, other than service animal, they would get in a lot of trouble. I see where they are coming from. I can appreciate that people have to have service dogs to live & function. So I really have no problem with them being in there, they are a NECESSITY, my little Rusty isn't.
