I know what you are talking about after my dad retired he wanted to stay bussy so he did volunteer work at our animal rescue he would feed the animals and play with them he even adopted this old dog it looked horriable but they were gonna put it to sleep because no one wanted it it was blind in one eye and it wasnt house broke it was like 8 years old but my dad didnt care cleaning up after it he had it for 4 more years before he ended up putting it to sleep it was blind in both eyes and in order for it to find you he would clap his hands it got to the point where his kidneys were failing and dad said he couldnt let it lay in its own pee ,but it broke his heart putting it to sleep ,he contiuned working there clear up until my dad passed on he enjoyed working there.
