Wow, that sounds like a lot. Mine only go a few times a day. I suppose it could be the food, but you might want to have him checked by a vet to rule out an infection or something else like diabetes. I don't know how common diabetes is in younger animals, but I had a cat that was doing the same thing. She was old though - 17 when we found out she had diabetes - and she passed away a couple years ago at 19. We were able to control hers with special food, but again that may not be your problem with your dog. I would have the vet check him out. |
