When you call to to make your appointment ask them how much are first time visits. The people that work for your vet should be able to tell you exactly what it will cost. If you have other pets some vets will give a discount, my vet does. Remember you'll have to bring a stool sample, so account for that cost. You'll also need heartworm and flea meds too, so add those costs to your total along with any shots that may be due.
