In that case I think you should had hung the person who opened the gates not the dog.

Sorry this happened to your llamas, I agree, I would had probably killed the dog too, in fact a few years ago a rotweiller almost bit me b/c I was walking the dogs and out of nowhere the rottweiler came trying to attack my dogs and I protect them with my body and luckily a neighbor heard the noises and grab a water hose and sprayed water on the dog, I found out later who the owner was and turned him in to HOA.
