I think it just depends on you and your likes and dislikes and what you can handle. I personally really love to spoil my babies. Cute clothes, bakery treats, strollers, carriers, you name it. I like for them to have their own things too, seperate play pens, toys, things like that. Eventually, I'd like to add one more to my crew and then that would probably be my limit. Don't get me wrong, I'd probably love to have a zillion yorkies but I think as to the amount of time I'd be able to give one and the type of lifestyle I could offer them, if I had anymore than 3, I don't think their life would be as "good" here as it currently is. I wouldn't have the time I would want to spend with all of them one on one and I couldn't take them out with me as much as I do and I know I couldn't buy all of them as many things as I'd like to and I am the biggest worrier everyone, the slightest sniffle and I am out the door running to the vet...my vet knows me and my dogs on a first name basis now...we're almost like family. LOL So, I think if I had more than three I would totally go broke! So for me I'd say 2-3 is a perfect number.
