Thanks for the suggestions. I suggested a sitter to my husband and he looked at me like I was nuts! I don't see how an x-pen or kennel would work any better than the gates. Even my husband worries that she could break a leg climbing the way she does. Even if she didn't hurt hurtself jumping down...the double gate is 5 feet tall, she has to get up there first which means those little legs and feet have to manage that mesh all the way up! Does anyone just put them in a room and close the door?
