Someone on here suggested giving my constipated pooch apple, no seed or rind, and within 15 minutes or so she pooped just fine....so this works also, and I nearly lost her when she was around 9 weeks old, she was straining, we took her to the vet, which said she seemed ok, gave her some stuff to calm her stomach, and said not to feed her.......well....she got alot worse and wound up at another vet the next morning, who turned her upside down, and said here's the problem, she has a BUTT PLUG.....poop had hung up in her hair, and sealed off her poop shoot, so we now keeps it cut very short and have had no problems since.....
