If the coat is in good condition from proper food and oils, and you use a gentle dog shampoo and conditioner and are brushing your baby every day without fail, the matts would never become so bad that a slicker can't get them out. You first take your fingers on any matt to gently pull them apart then take the slicker to them starting at the ends. |
