Macaw's are absolutely beautiful. I have a very good friend who has a male, named Black Beard. He's stunning. His beak is the strongest thing I've ever seen. They have trained him well and he is just awesome. He actually lives with toy dogs..and frequently "jumps" into pics they take of their dogs.
They also have other "smaller" parrots. Their home is truly an animal's paradise. If you would pm me your email, I'd be happy to put you in contact with them, they are breeders as well.
