Find another groomer and explain you want as musg coat saved as possible and are willing to pay to get it done. When Cali was spayed I kept a onsie on her and didn;t comb her for over a week. Needless to say she was a mess. I called this groomer who owned Yorkies and showed them and told her I would pay whatever she charged to get the matts out without too much stress to Cali. She did a great job and charged me 60.00. Today I took her and Maya to my regular groomer and Cali was matted despite daily sometimes 2 times a day grooming due to her scratching problem and I jusy got her back and she looks beautiful and matt free. This groomer only charges me 22.00 but I give her a nice tip. |
