I've been cooking for Sissy now for several months. She gets yogurt for breakfast every day with her Missing Link. I use Dannon Activia Vanilla. I was told you are supposed to use the full fat kind, making sure there is not aspartame or any other artificial sweetner in it. She gets about one ounce of it. For dinner, I make up a batch of chicken, brown rice, sweet potato, carrot, spinach, asparagus by steaming the veggies, using a rice cooker and boiling the chicken breasts (skinless, boneless). I buy Amish chicken breasts so I know there were no pesticides used. I use about a pound of chicken, 2 cups of brown rice, a whole sweet potato, about 10 baby carrots, 1/2 bag of fresh spinach and 1/4 lb of asparagus. Then, I dice the chicken and veggies into very small pieces and mix everything together. She gets about 1/4 cup of this for dinner. This mixture will last for about 3 weeks and takes about an hour total to cook, cut up and mix. I use ziplock freezer bowls to store in. Each bowl is about a week's worth of food.

Angel (14 weeks old) just came to us this past Saturday. She is getting the same as Sissy only in smaller amounts. They both are also eating Solid Gold Wee Bits, free feeding - mostly as a breakfast and lunch supplement. But together they have maybe 1/4 cup of kibble a day. I will also give little bits of cheddar cheese and fruit (banana, papaya, mango mostly) during the day.

I haven't changed up the mixture I feed as Sissy is kind-of picky with her meats. If I do mix it up, I would probably try venison or veal.

Sissy is 4 lbs, and Angel is 1 1/2 lb pup.
