Just BE careful

We used TaxAct last year (the pay version and all) and got AUDITED. The IRS now says that we owe them almost $5,000, and they won't even tell us WHY

We even had our accountant go over it and she found that they made a mistake and took away our earned income credit, but they never acknowledged that and keep sending us bills by certified mail. We're going to go to a tax lawyer and do a settlement, I'm not paying them all that money in "penalties and interest" when they waited a YEAR to point out this error, grrr!

Anyway, BEWARE!
