It is so difficult to know what to do for the best - this is what i did.
I got Harvey at 8 weeks and after 4 nights of my daughter sleeping downstairs with him (as we felt so sorry for him, having left his mummy etc). We put him in his crate in the kitchen - door closed and a wee wee pad one half of crate. We take him out last thing at night and in a morning, and for the first few months he had sometimes weed on the pad. Now he very rarely does anything on it, we do take him out every 3-4 hours, throughout the day, and he has free access to water until bed. He never has accidents in the house anymore - he is now nearly 10 months old.
