Well, just good gracious. You scared me half to death. Your baby is gonna be fine and you still have the right and responsibility to worry about her but only for a short time each day. This is advice I ALWAYS give to new owners of my babies or not. I am just full of advice about leaving our babies. Have the kennel attendent distract your baby with treats r toys or whatever. Then, do not let her see you sneak away. They seem to target on the door where mom leaves and sometimes obsess about it. THEY DO NOT NEED TO TELL US BYE AND HAVE US TELL THEM WE WILL BE BACK. WE HAVE NOT ABANDONED THEM! That is for our human kids and grandkids.
I am so lucky and in Feb. I left 7 babies of all ages with a boarding hotel for toy breeds mostly. It looked like I had packed for a whole herd. I took bags of dry kibble for each day with instructions as to how to mix it with the canned. Like they couldn't measure it themselves. Treats already broken into small pieces. Toys. Beds. Blankies w. who sleeps with whom..I am surprised they let me leave my babies there as I totally insulted them with all my instructions. My babies were happier there than when I leave them with my hubby in our own house.
Where are you staying in Jamaica? If it is Negril, you gonna luv it!!!!! Their music will have you boppin' all the time. And, food--my mouth is watering. They have a green veggie called callalu(sp?) I ate bowls of it for breakfast.. Just bring back fun things for Schatzie!!! and pics for us!! |
