I have had to rehome a couple of dogs (not Yorkies) in the past. I had taken them to obedience classes, etc... long story short, they were great dogs - just not for our family. Of course it was hard and we all cried, but they were much better off and had great lives. We gave them to people we knew. You have to make your own decision. Don't listen to too much input or you will just stay confused. Listen to some wise counsel, then make your decision. Like you said, maybe you have to change a little, who knows? It's hard figuring it all out. I wish you the best in making a decision.
