If she's healthy & well behaved I dont think its bad. I have been talking to a local breeder & he just had a litter of akc pups at 8 wks old it looks like one might get about 11-12lbs. Mom is 6.6 dad is 4.5. You just dont know. So I would rather know what I'm getting. I paid $1000 for my girl at 11 months old 3.6lbs. She is now 14 months 4.4lbs I've fattened her up
. I thought that was a great deal. You may just go visit, take your daughter & grand daughter see what they think. Has she been spayed already? That will save you some $ & if shes up to date on shots. If not I would just explain after you all think she would be a good pet that you would like to have her but the price is a little more then you can do since you will be having her spayed. Maybe ask her whats the best she could do if you paid cash that day. She might surprise you. Or if she asks what you can go tell her $450 & a really great home. Put on some charm
