i use 20 mule team borax to keep the roaches away that we have her in the south. much cheaper than an exterminator. and it works. i just sprinkle it all over the garage and behind furniture and any where that it can't be seen or reached by my yorkies. one question i would like to add to this... is it safe for pets to be around it? i have come across sites that say it is and some that say it isn't? i just keep it out of reach of mine just in case.
there was a thread about this a while back. do a search and put in the key words "lemon & flea". it will give you more info.
