I'm new to the forum and looking for some advice. Girlfriend is currently looking for a yorkie. Her friend purchased an 8 week old male yorkie from a lady in Chandler last week. Anyway, her friend said the puppy had vet documentation and seemed healthy and energetic. Overall, her friend is very happy with her yorkie.
From what I've read, anyone who sells a puppy less than 12 weeks old probably doesn't have the best interest of the dog in mind. Shouldn't puppies be with their parents for at least 12 weeks? Also, not having the parents available to view is a little suspect to me, also. I called her and inquired about the parents of the pups. She said she was selling the pups for a friend. She is asking $850. Cost is better than a puppy store which I refuse to buy from. Anyhow, we made an appointment this Sunday to view the pup. Any suggestions and help would be much appreciated.
