Gas can be caused by a fast change of food, feeding a food with too many carbohydrates, feeding a food with a fiber that doesn't agree with your dog, fast eating, intestinal worms, too many unfriendly bacteria in the gut. Maybe try some yogurt? Change his food? Mine eats Canidae and its a good food with a good price and he likes it. I have also heard food that contains ascorbic acid and have passed a certain period of storage, will cause gas too.
