I forgot to mention that we were also having trouble getting our yorkie to eat until the vet prescribed a special food for his liver. It's Royal Canin Hepatic LS 14 veterinary diet, and ever since we started feeding him this, he has really been eating like he is supposed to. I think they know what their bodies need because he wouldn't eat before we started him on this diet. He is also taking denosyl (a liver supplement) and lactulose(to help with constipation). |
