Basil Tomatoe & garlic Soup
2 lrg cans Organic crushed Tomatoes Blended (or 3 ½ lbs organic fresh tomatoes) add Basil in this process (blender)
6 Large cloves from Elephant Garlic
1 lrg to med Leek chopped to almost minced
¼ Tsp. Celery Seed
10 large or 12 med fresh organic Basil Leaves

2 1/2 Cups Half & Half
2 med Bay Leaves
¼ Cup Flour
1 ½ veggie Bouillon or 6 cubes

Combine all, except butter, flour, & veggie boullion
simmer low about 1/2 hr (remove bay leaves around this time...

in medium pan melt the butter add the flour (I mix the flour in a sm cup w/hot water then slowly add to melted butter(no lumps) blend togeather
until creamy combine w/soup mixture, Garnish with fresh shredded parmesan cheese topped with shredded fresh chive.

I do not use salt or pepper when I cook..
salt & pepper to your taste
