Yes, Missing Link is a supplement, not a food replacement. It get mixed in with whatever else they eat (it is a powder). Most pups really like the taste of it. It can be sprinkled on dry food, but works great mixed in to something soft, like cottage cheese or yogurt. Yes, you should keep feeding regular food.
Most people will start to see a difference in the texture and look of the coat in the first month.
