I'm with Calgal. Don't buy a puppy sight unseen. That's asking for trouble. There are plenty of Yorkies available in CA, so check the breeder board for recommendations and such. Here's a thread with links that outline what a responsible breeder looks like, and questions to ask to determine if the breeder you're dealing with is reputable:
