She is adorable! Sorry you got scammed though...it definitely sounds like a shady breeder. I'm just curious, why would you want to breed her, knowing she came from a puppy mill? Her hair problems might just be from nutritional issues, but they could also be genetic or related to the health problems she has because of the breeder. And yes, the APR registry is pretty much worthless...which makes it even worse that the breeder charged you that much for her. I'm glad the breeder at least had the decency to refund your vet bills. Did you ever get to see the dog's parents? If so, did they seem healthy? |
