When Jesse was 10 months old a kid broke the cardinal rule in my house, which is "ALL FOUR ON THE FLOOR!" no exceptions. He was 10 years old and knew when I looked at him and he had Jesse only about 6 inches off the floor and let him go. Same outcome...broken joint with possible growth plate involvement. I realized that day that there is an advantage to having a LITTLE dog..even if their paw grows all wonky, they are short and there is not much deformity.

I'm so sorry you and a pup went through this too. Was Jesse ok, how was he treated? How is he doing now? I hope he is now all better. Gosh it so scary to know such a small fall can hurt our babies so.
