I have used one of those before and it is great (especially keeping them free from drafts) but the pups are able to get out of the box witihin a week or so.

Last time hubby made me a new box...about 2 1/2 x 2/12 ft (a square) and made it to fit snug around the base so that the bottom could still be popped out.? He covered it with vinyl so it was easy to clean up?just take it out and hose it.

It cost right around $20 to make and was big enough for the pups to stay in for quite a while (I think they were able to get out over the top around 5 weeks?) Once they were to big to stay in it all the time, it was still great just to grab the frame and use to keep them put while vaccuming or doing something where they wouldn't be underfoot.
