I got an old fashioned low crib with the wooden slats in it and got some lattice work that you use in the garden and put around it so the pups can't get out but it is low enuf for Mom to jump in and out. I works out great, cause the pups can't get out unless I get them out and I don't always have to be on the hunt for them as they get older!
