Thank you for all your replies. I should ask my vet why the blood work cost so much. I have a feeling I won't get any good reason answer, hehe. I know everyone is right about it being SOOOOOOOO worth it, but I can't help but feel like, what the heck -- why is it as much as the surgery itself! I'm sure everyone can see where I'm coming from. But, if something ever happend to Howie, I wouldn't be able to blame myself if I could have avoided it by doing the blood panel. Ahhhh!!!
