Well, I'm one of those that it really doesn't bother if I see dogs at an event but there are rules and regulations that the store owner or event coordinator has every right to set and we have to obey them. I actually saw a college girl grocery shopping at a very busy HEB on Friday with a HUGE standard poodle on a leash!!
I've seen standard poodles before but I think it was something about the type of store we were in and the crowd of people that seemed to make it a little "unreal". I swear it was like seeing a small horse walking around a grocery store!
The dog didn't have a service vest on or anything and I have no idea why she had to have the dog in the store but I did think that was a little weird. Now that I think about it, that's not the first time I've seen a very large dog in that HEB but the other time was a service dog - had his vest on to prove it. For the record, I don't take Tatum into any stores (except for the couple of times we've gone to Petco) but that's mostly because I run all my errands in the town I work in before heading home to "my town".
