I have not imported a dog from Brazil but I do have one that was imported from Brazil. The kennel my Louie came from is well know and that is the only one I can comment on but I am sure some here have dealt with others over there. Which kennel are you thinking about buying from? Can I ask why you are thinking of buying from another country when there are many here from reputable breeders and have dogs that are imported from Brazil and already are transferred to AKC? I am just curious and not grilling you at all. It is just chancy if you dont know if they are reputable and as far as the papers, if they are champions that arent AKC, then I dont think they will show up on your AKC papers. I dont think AKC recognizes the champions of another country or at least on some of my dogs papers, they dont show up even though I know for a fact they are champions. |
