Angel. First let's go over the marking issues of a male. If a male is neutered early by six months of age, they generally do not mark. Second; A female that is spayed will not get the "Bleedy thing." If you are looking for a pet then whether you pick a female or a male puppy you should HAVE HER SPAYED OR HIM NEUTERED. This is better for the health of the dog as well, as it can prevent some cancers and it is easier for the potty training atleast when a male is concerned. There is a lot to consider though aside from choosing a male or female. You should really research the Yorkshire Terrier before deciding to buy one. These pups are very high maintancne, meaning they require money for Vet bills, yearly teeth cleaning, grooming etc. Plus they need to be brushed and cared for every day. Also both sexes both male and female are more difficult to potty train, more so then other breeds. Other's here please feel to jump in on this one
