I've been taking the Mucinex that is the drug store brands. The generic at pharmacies is much cheaper. I have severe sinus problems, and take it on a daily basis. When I get sick, I take one in the morning and one in the evening.

I've taken this since it was Guafenisin and you had to have a prescription for it. Same stuff, has 400mg of Guafinesin in it, no prescription now.

I can't take the Mucinex DM, cause it keeps me awake all night. Anything with a D behind it (decongestant) keeps me awake.

I had that mess right after Christmas, and just got over it.
