Certified mail is a good idea. Ill just be honest about it to them. That I have to feel comfortable with where my puppies go, and I dont so I will be sending the deposit back. I would rather call and let them know the deposit is coming instead of a surprize. I think that would upset them more.
I guess they could freak out on me but hey I can get a little freaky myself!
BUt seriously if they do, I just wont respond to it.
If I was going to get nasty I would have when I waited for hours for them to call or show up and come to find out they were at home, and never let me know. I think someone would flip out on me if they were coming to pick up a puppy and I just didnt bother to show, or I wasnt home for the appt.
Its for the best, I think its one of those situations, where somemone likes the thought of a puppy, like a kid, but forgets to feed them or doesnt truly realize the expense, the supplies, the vet bills. They were told all that stuff but after putting a deposit never inquired about her again. I did all the calling, and they still didnt have th supplies the day they were supposed to pick her up so they dont need my puppy.
