Oh, I don't think this Silver Nano is crap...I do like it. I want to watch the DVD so I can figure out how to curl my hair. It does really well with giving me some root lift and root volume! So that in it self is really cool. I have staright hair already and was planning on using for a typical straightener.
I have just never seen a flat iron before, so I was sure if this one was defected in any way.
The two plates have a tiny bit of play in them. When I close softly - the end plates touch but there is a very small gap in the middle and end near the handle. (Meaning - if I were to put the end of a strand of my hair in the middle of the iron and softly close, my hair would slip out). BUT - If I just hold a little firmer, the two plates touch and clamp tight. The seller told me that this is correct, that the plates have a little play in them, but when closed tight they are even.
I could just be a 'dummy' when it come to this stuff. Maybe, I should go to the store and check out the flat iron to see if they to have some 'play in the plates'.

I paid $84.99 + $13 (shipping). He sells alot of stuff and has lots and lots of positive feedback, so I don't think he sold me something bad???
It came all sealed up in the original box, etc...
