Delta is probably the best with flying with small dogs. I just got off a very long trip with Boo and he did very well. The only thing is that you have to plan your lay overs so you can take your dog for a relief break. Alot of airports have relief areas outside the main terminal. Also to my surprise, when we were waiting for our next flight other people were taking there dogs out of the carriers and sittng them on their laps, and no one said anything. So that gives them time out of the carrier while waiting. Also these days you might be flying 2 different airlines, so you need to make sure that the other airline accept and that there is room for them, most airlines only alow 2 pets in coach and 1 in first class.
