Yes, it is for an adult..if not ALL Yorkie puppies would be in correct in color. White is very hard to find beyond 8 weeks...sometimes the toes or foot will be white, but that hair grows off the end and the resulting hair is gold..I have seen breeders trying to pass off a few white markings as a Parti...people paid a big price only to find the Yorke had no white by 6 months or so...

And I do agree, you can not be too careful with health problems in previous litters...I would want to speak to the vet who was caring for the sick puppy...I was ready to refund a pup cost once until I spoke to the vet...he said.."you would have a seizure too if you were hit in the head by a door and had a skull fracture...pet owner failed to tell me that part...
Always wise to check out your litters as adults and into old age...
