i have wanted a chi for the longest time, but i've done some research and found that the nano is great.
it should close the same throughout when closed.
Katie B is my friend (not the person you purchased it from). She is a makeup artist and hair stylist and if you were to see some of her work you'd be amazed.
she is the reason why im going to get this one and not the chi. i've been to a lot of makeup forums, even when i had my own and a lot had said the chi is a great iron, but not the best of the best.
i think you should check out KatieB's products (especially the faux lash mascara!)..
and she's real nice, if you want you can ask her how to use the flat iron. i don't want you to think that the nano is crap, because it's not.
i don't know who you purchased it from on ebay, but are they just reselling the item?
