Peters,
I noticed I didn't post the link to the other petition I was talking about.

The point is, it's not our business to be so obsessed with it. He could have sincerely apologized and the media wouldn't have told us. I didn't directly affect any of us, so why do we need to be so involved in it??

People on this forum have described WAY worse problems - like knowing someone who is starving their yorkie puppy to keep them small. Why don't you go sign a petition to remove that dog from that home? At least that's affecting the outcome of life or death of a living, breathing creature and I don't see anyone doing that.

It's a nation of free speech - yes it was hurtful to the person it was directed at, but this is blown WAY out of proportion.

My point is, don't get your panties in a wad over something that none of us can change. The petition may make you feel better, but it's not going to force someone to make a decision they weren't already decided on. If you want to expend your energy on this, that's your prerogotive. I just feel that there are more important things that our energy could be put to good use on, ya know?

As far as the ratings of the show - it will probably increase them and draw more people to watch it.

I'm sorry if I offended anyone, that was certainly not my intention. I am just stating my honest opinion.
