JMO, but this seems ridiculous to me. He does not work in the Public Sector, television is private industry. Regardless of my personal view of what he did, it's not up to me or the general public to determine whether or not he is fired.
First, we weren't there and we are not the people directly affected.
Second, as I stated before, this is a private industry.
Third, where does this kind of thing end. Let's say you're a clerk in a retail shop and say something that a customer takes offense to. Should they then go online and petition for you to be fired??? Where does something like this end.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion and if you believe you should sign this, go for it, personally, I have an issue with the principle at work here.
