I use frontline plus on my Rottweiler and I will be using it on Carl also. You do apply it between the shoulder blades. If you feel that it is too much liquid for one location, you can move down an inch or so and apply some in a second location. I also use it monthly during the summer. It stops the entire flea cycle that way. I intend to use it monthly on Carl but will consult with the vet as this is my first yorkie.
