Yeah, I understand. I feel the same. Decisions like neutering should be made only when the owner knows what might happen after and the information shouldn't be withheld and I think it is the vet's responsibility to at least talk to the owner. I changed vets because of that. They didn't even tell me after I asked and I feel that they try to tell me as little as possible and their services wasn't a good price either, it was a little on the high side. I just got irritated because I feel like they think I am stupid and not knowing anything and just keep charging absurd prices. On my last visit, they knew I wasn't very pleased and I have told them many times my puppy is my baby. I just had enough of that vet!
